Bill Belichick is a Sore Loser
We've no doubt that Patriots coach Bill Belichick is a great coach. You don't have to look much further than the three rings on his fingers earned over the last five years.
But as a human being he tends to leave a little bit to be desired.
First there was the incident with Eric Mangini after the Patriots lost to the Jets earlier this season. He refused to shake his former assistant's hand cuz he was pissed at him for a whole lot of idiotic reasons. The foremost being, Mangini broke his heart.
Sunday night he did it again, blowing off Peyton Manning after the game.
Peyton stalled reporters for his post-game interviews looking for Belichick so he could shake his hand. He was also looking for Tom Brady, but Dreamboat ran off the field immediately to shake off the pain in Gisele's arms. (We can't blame him.)
When Manning finally found the coach, Belichick acted as if Manning wasn't even there. He didn't make any eye contact and instead just stuck his arm out, barely shook Peyton's hand (if ya blinked, you missed it) and kept going.
To Manning's credit, when interviewed after the game, he couldn't say enough about how classy the New England Patriots organization was. He even went as far to say wonderful things about Brady and Belichick, despite being blown off by both.
Then, during the "Losing Coach Interview," always done after a championship game, Belichick gave another of his classic performances.
Maybe LaDainian Tomlinson was right.

i was on the phone with my dad when belichick snubbed peyton. we both reacted at the same time: "what a total jerk!" it doesn't get much more low-rent than that.
and while we're on the subject, why isn't tom brady being held to account for his shameful rudeness?
everyone obsessed with LT's "sore loser" behavior -and yet sports commentators have barely mentioned this.
why? cuz he didn't give them an easy video clip to show repeatedly? cuz they wanna be his bitches? cuz they want to meet giselle? all of the above?
ummm....Brady is white. LT is black. That's the difference.
People don't want to talk about it, but that's the facts, jax.
I still can't believe the press never even bothered to even consider criticizing the Patriots for dancing. It was all about, "well, they won away, so they can do whatever they want". Help me figure that one out. All I can guess is Superbowl privilege, and the main guy complaining was LT - a black man.
Like Mookie (Spike) said, "There you have it."
you said what i was thinking.
You might want to get your facts straight before taking jabs at people. Bruschi went up to Payton to let him know they would all be waiting for him in the tunnel. They all personally Congratulated him. With the hussle and bussle after winning a championship, there is too much craziness going on immediatly after the game. Brady is not that type of guy so dont even put him in the same catagory of some of those classless Egotistical players. Both Bill and Brady are both alwasy praising Payton. Get you facts straight. There is alot that happens that you dont see.
Did Tedy Bruschi tell you that? There's video evidence of Belichick blowing off Manning.
There's also a lot of video evidence of Belichick being a bit of a dick at times.
Why would they wait until they were in the tunnel? That makes no sense.
ya bruschi told me wise ass. No its all in the papers because everyone was calling Bill out on it and it was quickly clearfied everywhere.
Well ok Anon, but you have to realize, those are local Boston area papers.
Of course Belichick's gonna say that stuff after taking a beating, but remember, actions speak louder than words.
And we've all seen Belichick's actions.
I understand it's difficult to cope with a loss, especially when you're used to winning, but Sean Payton took the time to congratulate everybody after the Saints lost, and gave a full interview.
I might be upset that we lost but who would, dispite our past record. I was glad to see that Payton and the Colts were finally going to the superbowl. Im just saying, dont knock people before knowing all trhe facts. That it.
By the way, Bruschi did the same as Sean Payton. He did a full congradulatory to Payton Manning and an interview after.
With the hussle and bussle after winning a championship, there is too much craziness going on immediatly after the game.
how can i put this nicely, anon?
what total horseshit.
if the last minute of the game had gone differently, are you saying there would have been "too much hustle and bustle" for brady to have stayed on the field?
if it's so "crazy" down there, why does any player stay after a game?
the fact is, tom brady was as safe as peyton manning, bill belichik and the scores of other players and staff who stayed out on that field (which was protected by hundreds of police, if not more).
i don't care what he says hours or days later or before. brady's choice to be "waiting in the tunnel" after that game was the passive/aggressive equivalent of the LT outburst. maybe even worse, because manning had done nothing to provoke it.
