The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to the NBA Finals thanks to some rookie most people had probably never heard of a week ago. Daniel "Boobie" Gibson went off yesterday, scoring 31 points while only taking nine shots. Gibson was 5-5 from behind the three point line and scored 19 of his points in the fourth quarter to bury the Pistons. "If I'm dreaming, please don't wake me up," Gibson said. "This was perfect, to win it for Cleveland." LeBron had an "off" game with only 20 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists. He only made 3 of the 11 shots he took, but made 14 free throws. The Pistons actually played the right defense against him in this game, but for once the rest of the Cavs stepped up and won a game. It's the first time in the 37 year history of the franchise that the Cavaliers will be going to the NBA Finals, and I hope their fans enjoyed last night's win, because I don't think they'll have much to celebrate against the Spurs.
