Carlos Quentin Has Cast Removed

The Chicago White Sox have gained a little breathing room in the AL Central standings this week (thank you, Cleveland) opening their lead to two and a half games over the Minnesota Twins. They've also gotten some good news on the injury front, as what looked like a season ending knee injury to Paul Konerko a week ago turned out to be a mild sprain, and Paulie is already back in the Sox lineup.

Of course, Konerko may not be the only member of the team who could be coming back from an injury that looked like it was going to end a season...
