Hey Look, A Post!

While I try to deal with the fact that the White Sox are no longer in first place (thank you, pitching staff!) and that one of my favorite bands ever, Wilco, sang the seventh inning stretch at yesterday's Cubs game (Jeff Tweedy is dead to me), I thought I'd come here today to share some news with the two of you who are still coming here for some reason.

I'm going to be writing here again in the very near future, probably later this afternoon actually. Now, it's not going to be five posts a day, or even a post a day, but I will be writing here. The fact of the matter is, I just need to drop an F-bomb once in a while. I have a dirty fucking mouth, and not being able to use it while writing for FanHouse drives me insane at times.

I swear I'm breaking out into Tourette-esque fits while out in public lately.

"Hi, Tom, how are you?"

"Shit balls cock fuck tit ass!"

"Tom!"

"Sorry, grandma."

It's a disease. Anyway, there is an ulterior motive to this post. FanHouse is no longer the only place where I'm writing where I can't swear. That's right, I started a new gig this morning.

As of this very second I am the newest contributor to SPORTSbyBROOKS. You can read my first post right here, it's a doozy. As for now, I'll be working at SbB on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, but that may expand in the future if I don't suck (so there's a 30/70 chance!).

My posting schedule at FanHouse will not change.

So, yeah, just because I'm not writing here as often as I used to doesn't mean I'm not writing anymore. In reality, I'm writing twice as much as I used to now, so all of you can still get your fix.

I love you all, and I'll admit, I've missed you too. I only hope you've missed me as well. Later.
