Big Papi to Have MRI on His Wrist Today

As we told you about here yesterday, Boston Red Sox designated hitter/cult hero David Ortiz had to leave a game during an at bat in the ninth inning after feeling a pop in his wrist. The team took x-rays on Papi's wrist after the game, which came back negative, but Ortiz still sat out Boston's 9-4 win over Baltimore on Sunday.

While the Sawx will be finishing their four game set with the O's this evening, Ortiz won't be around to cheer them on as he's gone back to Boston to get an MRI done on the wrist...
