In Brief: A.J. For MVP!

I know we're only a week into the season, and any talk about MVP's or even who's going to win the division is completely asinine, but asinine opinions is what I do best. After the first six games of the season, A.J. Pierzynski is absolutely tearing it up.

He's slimmed down a bit this season, and he's no longer trying to hit every pitch 500 feet. The results so far?

He's hitting .500 with with an OBP of .565 and is slugging 1.000. He has two home runs, four doubles, seven runs driven in, and he's scored 7 runs as well.

It's never too early to start the campaign, people.
