You Have To Love Emmitt Smith

There's a part of me that wishes ESPN would just fire Emmitt Smith so I don't have to listen to him say stupid things every weekend, but at the same time, I want Emmitt on ESPN as much as possible because some of those stupid things are entertaining.

I was watching Sunday NFL Countdown this morning when I noticed the latest gaffe of Emmitt's, and thankfully somebody was kind enough to put it on YouTube.



Wait a second, Emmitt. So you're telling me that if the Giants win the NFC Championship game today against the Packers, they have a chance to go to the Super Bowl? Wow. I had no idea.

Emmitt also went on later in the show to tell us that if the temperatures in Green Bay rise to above 75 degrees, it will not snow, and that if the Patriots lose today they won't have a chance to complete an undefeated season.

  2. I have two points to make. One, it's funny as hell to watch someone make an ass out of themselves (see American Idol, any reality TV show and our President and the presidential hopefuls). HOWEVER--second point, it's increasingly frustrating to be subjected to retards who butcher the English language, offer no real NFL analysis, and are preventing us, the fan, from getting real, bona fide NFL analysis about the game we love.
