Players Mentioned In The Mitchell Report

I haven't finished reading all 409 pages or anything, but I did notice that Will posted a complete list of all the players named in the report over at Deadspin, so I'm just going to steal that list and post it here for you.

All the players listed in the section VIII. B.: "Information Regarding Purchases or Use of Performance Enhancing Substances by Players in Major League Baseball" (section 3 is "Radomski¹s Distribution of Performance Enhancing Substances to Major League Baseball Players")

Lenny Dykstra

Section IX. B."Alleged Internet Purchases of Performance Enhancing Substances By Players in Major League Baseball"

Rick Ankiel, Paul Byrd, Jay Gibbons, Troy Glaus, Jose Guillen, Jerry Hairston, Jr., Gary Matthews, Jr., and Scott Schoeneweis, and former players David Bell, Jose Canseco, Jason Grimsley, Darren Holmes, John Rocker, Ismael Valdez, Matt Williams, and Steve Woodard."

Now it's important to point out that this is not an entire list of players in MLB who've used steroids. This is just a list of player whom George Mitchell found enough evidence on to include in his report.

Ballhype: hype it up!

Kent Mercker was one of my favorite former Cub... should mention that.

He wasn't one of Steve Stone's favorites.

Though roid rage may help explain why Mercker yelled at him on the plane flight.
