Today at FanHouse

Where we welcome Josh Alper of The Feed to our little world.

  • Demetrius Jones Thinks Charlie Weis' Pants are on Fire - It's kind of hard to blame Demetrius Jones for transferring from Notre Dame to Northern Illinois. I'm pretty sure that Jimmy Clausen was thinking "I should have gone to USC" during Saturday's dismantling by the Michigan Wolverines. There was a lot of questions surrounding Jones' exit, and Charlie Weis wasn't very happy with the way Jones handled the situation.
  • YouTubesDay: Duke Wins! Duke Wins! - It's funny, I was sitting in a barber shop on Saturday morning next to a man in a Northwestern sweatshirt. As we were both sitting there waiting for our haircuts, the talk quickly became focused on college football. I told him I was a Notre Dame fan, and of course, he gave me some crap for it. That's how bad it's gotten: Northwestern fans are talking smack about the Irish. So later on that day while I was at my sister's wedding, and I saw that Duke had snapped it's 22-game losing streak by beating Northwestern in Evanston, it brought a small smile to my face.
  • Vicente Padilla Crawls Like a Man - Year in and year out Vicente Padilla is among the leaders in hit batsmen. You would think that when you hit a lot of guys, you probably get into your fair share of scraps. So you add two and two together, and Vicente Padilla has to be a one man killing machine right? Wait a second, is that Padilla we see on all fours trying to crawl away from Nick Swisher and the pile as quickly as possible? Maybe next time he should just run away screaming. He'll look tougher that way.

Ballhype: hype it up!
