Mike Vick Can't Make Up His Mind

Apparently advice from God Himself is not enough to help Mike Vick make a decision, because he's still mulling over the idea of accepting a plea or not.
Still heavy into negotiations and deliberations, embattled Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick continued on Saturday to mull his options in the dogfighting case he faces in federal court, and has still not completely ruled out the possibility of proceeding to trial on November 26.I'm not really sure what the debate is here. It's a choice between less than a year in jail, or more than a year in jail. With every single one of his co-defendants prepared to get on a witness stand and say that Vick did everything he's accused of, the odds of him getting off on these charges are almost non-existent.Sources with knowledge of the ongoing negotiations with prosecutors, and also with the discussions within the Vick camp, said a plea agreement -- if the quarterback decides to accept one -- may not come now before Monday. One source suggested a plea might not be entered until Tuesday; however, a U.S. District Court grand jury will convene on Monday to consider additional charges against the Atlanta Falcons' star.
There's also the probability that when the feds are about to put down another indictment against Vick that would include racketeering charges which could lead to more time in prison.
I know it can't be easy to accept going to prison for Vick, no matter the sentence. Nobody wants to go to jail. Vick needs to realize though that there is no escape plan, and he's going to have to bite the bullet on this one.
