The Curse of Kerry Begins!

I told you that the return of Kerry Wood would kill the Cubs. Okay, he hasn't killed them yet, but he's trying.

Carlos Zambrano had to leave this afternoon's Cubs game in the fifth inning, and not because he was getting rocked. The trainer came out, and Lou Piniella pulled Zambrano from the game.

A scary moment for Cubs fans I'm sure.

The good news is that, much like in his last start, it's only cramps. Seems the heat and humidity got to him.

Of course this also makes it more likely we're all gonna see Wood pitch today. So maybe he isn't finished yet.
