Checking In On Holley Mangold

You may remember a little over a year ago, Foul Balls introduced you to Holley Mangold. In case you don't remember, Holley is the younger sister of New York Jets center Nick Mangold, and she's also a starting offensive lineman linewoman on her high school football team.

Well, she's entering her senior year at Alter High, and she's as prepared as ever.

The 17-year old , checking in at 315 pounds this season, has been bench pressing 265 pounds and has squatted 565 pounds. Pretty decent...for a girl.

Personally, that's how I start my mornings. Following that 15-mile run, anyway.

There's still one thing she's done that I've never been able to accomplish, and believe me, I've tried.

How strong is she? She escaped serious injury in a recent head-on collision that demolished her truck by pushing the steering wheel away from her body as the crash occurred, leaving the steering wheel broken and crumpled.
Good Lord! What the hell is she going to do to any defensive lineman that try to get past her?

Kudos to you, Holley Mangold. Kudos to you.

I mean there was that one time I lifted that overturned semi off of those poor orphans, but it pales in comparison to this. I'm thoroughly impressed.

If you are interested in baseball training, you might also be interested in soccer training and golf training.

Ballhype: hype it up!

Good for her! Go Holly.

[I am scared to put what I really think out of fear she will find me and break me...]
