The Basketball Diaries - The Most Exciting Series, Ever!

San Antonio Spurs 75 Cleveland Cavaliers 72
I've always maintained that there's nothing more exciting in basketball than blown layup after blown layup. Yeah, it may have been close in the end, but it was ugly. The Spurs and Cavs combined to tie for the second lowest scoring game in NBA Finals history on Tuesday night as San Antonio just about finished Cleveland. Tony Parker had 17 points, Tim Duncan only had 14, and Manu Ginobili only had 3, yet the Spurs still won. LeBron finished with 25 and a legitimate beef. He was fouled by Bruce Bowen on that last shot, and he should have been given three free throws. So Cleveland fans have a right to bitch this morning, but if LeBron couldn't make layups at the end, why should we think he'd have hit all three free throws?

Cuz he was gettting it done at the free throw line in the 4th quarter.
And cuz he's LeBron.
He should have had the chance, regardless.
