Today at The Fanhouse

Actually, it's two days at The Fanhouse.

  • Make Room For Fausto-He was only in the Indians starting rotation at the beginning of this season because Cliff Lee had to be placed on the disabled list, and if it wasn't for another injury to Jake Westbrook, Fausto would be in Triple-A right now. Well, those two injuries to Indians starters might be the best thing that's happened to the Tribe this season.
  • Mark Teixeira, Anyone?-If the Rangers were to trade Tex, this summer would be the best time to do it. They could get a king's ransom for him since whichever team traded for him would not only get him for the rest of this season, but next season as well. Now, it's never really easy to part with a player that can hit like Mark, let alone play Gold Glove defense as well, but it could be the best thing for the organization. The Rangers have never had trouble producing big guys that can hit, their problem is pitching.
  • What Should Hank Blalock Do With His Rib?-In case you hadn't heard, Hank Blalock will be out the next three months because he will be having a rib removed. Yes, that's right. He is actually having a rib taken out of his body. So that got me to thinking, what should Hank Blalock do with the rib once he has it removed?
  • On Deck: Chipper's Twice As Angry-You know, all the attention during interleague play is given to the "big" rivalries like Yankees/Mets, or Cubs/White Sox. But for my money, there is no rivalry in any sport that can come close to the intensity of Rockies/Royals. These guys really hate each other. Seriously. It's like the Arabs and the Jews. The Bloods and the Crips. Gil Meche goes for the Royals tonight and looks to extend his 27-inning scoreless streak on the road. Of course, he's only managed a 1-0 record in that streak.

Ballhype: hype it up!
