Today at The Fanhouse

Where I'm always kickin' it old school.

  • Francisco Liriano Should Be Ready To Go In 2008-You hear that? There's no doubt he'll be 100% for next season! Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean anything. He might be 100% when the season starts but the odds that he'll finish next season that way aren't as high. Liriano was 100% before he started having all these arm problems so he's likely to find himself in the same boat again.
  • Joel Zumaya Is Out Until At Least July-Well I guess we now know why the Tigers said Joel Zumaya had suffered a possible dislocation of the middle finger of his throwing hand on Sunday. It's because he didn't dislocate anything, he just ruptured a tendon.
  • Let Sleeping Beltres Lie-After leaving the stadium the Mariners took a bus back to their Manhattan hotel. While on the bus, Beltre fell asleep. When the team reached the hotel, Beltre was still sleeping and he just looked so darn cute curled up and sucking his thumb that his teammates decided to leave him there. The Mariners also "forgot" to inform the bus driver of their diabolical plans, and he took off back to a garage in Queens with Beltre still snoozing in the back.
  • Is Jason Kendall Done?-Now in 2007 it's starting to look like Kendall has worn down. He's played in 27 of the Athletics thirty games this season, and to say he's struggling would be giving him too much credit. He's batting .170 with no home runs and 7 RBI. He hasn't even had an extra base hit since doubling on Opening Day. Now, teams can deal with a non-hitting catcher because it's his game calling and defense that are the most important aspects of his game.
  • On Deck: Why Are You Putting That Rubber Glove On?-The Brewers look to continue their assault on their National League opponents tonight, along with the rectums of their fans, as they try to win their tenth game in twelve tries. Speaking of having your hands in things, Brewers starter Dave Bush has had his hand in the last two Brewers losses. It's time to get physical in Milwaukee, now touch your toes.

Ballhype: hype it up!
