The Basketball Diaries - Detroit Pastings

Detroit Pistons 108 Chicago Bulls 87
Let's look at the bright side. The Bulls lost Game 1 by 25, and they only lost by 21 on Monday night. So the Bulls are on pace to get a one-point victory in Game 8. Is it just me or does this series remind you of a #1 seed playing a #16 in the NCAA Tournament? I'm not at all surprised the Bulls are down 2-0, but the way it's going down, that's a bit surprising. This series is now going to be over in 5 games because Detroit is going to get at least one win in Chicago.
Utah Jazz 116 Golden State Warriors 112
At least I was able to watch this game afterwards so I could get to enjoying basketball again. Especially since Deron Williams played so well, scoring 31 points and dishing out 8 assists. Hell, even Dee Brown got to play! He chipped in 6 points of his own as the Illini West edged out the Golden State Warriors in Utah Monday night. This series looks like it will be just as much fun as the Dallas/Golden State matchup was in the first round.
